This month is a busy one. Today I just moved into a new crib…living solo so I get to interior decorate etc. Movin is hectic but I made it baby. I always report to my people what I’ve been listenin too. I have been feelin a lot of Donny Hathaway lately. He got that voice that was ahead of his time like if he came out in the millenium his vocals could fit on a nice neo-soul track and thats what classic does but Donny’s voice is so present time…so current to me. My favorite Donny line at this moment in time is from the song ‘I love you more than you’ll ever know’, “When I wasn’t makin much muu-uhnay…you know where my paycheck went….you know I brought it home to yuh baybay and I didn’t spend a red cent” not a red cent! It just sounded like he was tryina tell his girl that he was down , through the thick and the thin, he just sounded like he was speaking from the heart of a good man. Ladies it really is some good brothers out there even if they may be temporarily on some bs I think they want to be that line, that Donny Hathaway sings… ideally.  They want a good beautiful woman that they can bring gifts to but also love and devotion.

Who knew that she could recreate the sound of Smokey Robinson. Alicia Keyes surprised me on this one. “Wreckless Love” is hawwt! “Lets go back in time when seein your I D ohy my drove me crazy I’m sayin…Lets go back theeeeere…Lets take it theeeeeeere” I wanna cooreograph to this song so bad… the drum spray in the beginning right before the tune drop speaks to me. the bridge kills…it glides into the chorus like a plane on a runway and takesoff. I will be honest sometimes Alicia’s songs are hit or miss with me like when she goes into that whole Norah Joans slow piano ballad I get lost but when she does hit she knocks it out the park. Wreckless Love is wild nice.

So the colors I got for my new apt is midnight blue, hot lips (rasberry pink), and a mellow yellow for my kitchen. Wish me luc…. and yes check me out this month rocking shows at Sputnik March 5, ARTmosphere in Maryland March 6, and Sputnik March 26 one mo gain at the end of the month.

I have been hosting the London-New York based World Rap
Championships Lookback show, the show on average 2500 views per day and my guests include the likes of Joe Budden, Craig G, Rhymfest etc. Warning, this show is censorless (Awright well theres No nudity) and not for the meek you really have to be able to take a joke and spit it right back if you’re in the battles.
