International Debut
September 27th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »
I just got back from making my International debut as a performer in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador. It was a hot experience. The whole city was surrounded by lava producing volcanoes, beautiful hills, limes and banana trees, not my favorite fruit but nice to look at. I rocked three shows out there with the theater group Purelements (see right). So we rocked the President Theater w/ a 100 piece orchestra. People played Cellos, Oboes, Flutes, Violins and crazy Percussion. But I would walk through the malls and people literally thought I was Beyonce or somebody. I’m telling you the only other black cats I saw… was in our hotel and they were from Trinidad & Tobago. It was no black people but I did manage to find that one of the orchestra kids had locks. HIP Hop is alive in El Salv aye!
So whats next people? Italy before the year is out. Stay stuned for upcoming dates. But I’m going out there strictly on a vocalist mission. You can peep the pics from El Salvador on myspace.com/nemiss.
